The H2G2 Graveyard: What Would You Have On Your Headstone?

Simple enough.
What would you have enscribed on your headstone?
Are you a names and dates person or do you want an awe-inpsiring quote?
I can't think of mine so I'll open it up to the community!

It was mentioned yesterday that Peter Ustinov wanted his headstone to read 'Keep off the grass'.
No idea about my own, though.

Rather have a tree than a headstone. No name, no nothing.

well if i had a headstone (i prefer the tree idea really) i would have to have something to lighten the atmosphere as i would prefer people to remeber me happily as opposed to mourn me.
On that basis i think something like "see i told you it was serious!"
might be a good option

'Here lies one whose name was writ in water' - Keats in selfpitying mood (mind you, he had very good reasons to feel sorry for himself, poor lambkin). I like the image of simply flowing away...

Ripping off Nigel Tufnel from Spinal Tap.
"Here lies aonemantidalwave...and why not?"

Take pause and rest upon this spot,
I wish I had but oft did not.
It's green and grassy lid doth cover,
A hurried worker, a slower lover.
So now I get the rest I needed,
Beneath this ground just freshly seeded.
If you should rest on this new grass,
It's fresh new sod, so move your ass.
