A friend called me his lucky star cos I brought him luck.
I liked it. Sometimes I change it to LuxyStar since I'm in Luxembourg.
And what's wrong with the smiley, then Chris?

daraline, keeper of unusual rats and deranged hamsters Posted Aug 25, 2003
daraline is a conglomerate of caroline(me)and darren, the 'other half'. we started using it when a mate got drunk and said she was going to see caren and daraline, and we liked the daraline. since we share the one email account etc, daraline fits well. it also makes signing xmascards a lot quicker!
some friends now just refer to us as the daralines...
we do lead independant lives though, so we aren't in each other's pockets the whole time.
xx

Zak T Duck Posted Aug 25, 2003
There were far too many people called Mark at primary school, so the classmates used to call me Croz (short for my surname), and it's stuck with me ever since.
One one occasion I was feeling cryptic and changed it to X-Z which I see as the smiley version of my name (it looks crosser than the cross smiley x-| so therefore it's Croz) and not a constipated smiley that a few have said it looks like.

Researcher Eagle 1 Posted Aug 25, 2003
Eagle-1 has a double meaning: it's a code for the Apollo capsule Moon landing (I'm into NASA & space stuff) and the name of my favorite American football team (the Philadelphia Eagles).
I never deleted the prefix Researcher, so the name just stuck. Besides, when shortened, I like the way my online name looks: RE1.
