Actually, it's really quite fun when you find a f**kbuddy- a good friend who you trust, enjoys sex as much as you and you just do it for fun, no strings attached, no silly moral or emotional stuff, just fun. As long as the rules of play are all agreed beforehand (i.e. either one of you can choose to not be a f**kbuddy any more with no questions asked etc) then it's a refreshing change from all the boring bits.
And it's good exercise

It's nice to have that connection with someone tho. To know you're giving as much comfort as they are giving you, just by being close and with no strings.

Actually, I am a male! It *is* possible for a male to want a purely platonic relationship (well it's not strictly platonic when you snuggle up nekkid together I know but...) Just sticking up for the male population. We get such a bad rap!

Oh I agree Akland. Its possible for a male to WANT a platonic relationship but whether he can GET it is another question. Most females dont want to share the `PRIZE` with just anyone!

I have a quite fond memory of my brother, sister and I all falling asleep on the same bed (I almost wrote 'bad' there as a typo; Freud anyone?) in a caravan after giving up on the floor in exasperation at about 2:30 am.

I remember on a scout camp (Mixed scouts so there was an equal amount of females) We had 11 people sleeping in a 2 man tent. In the morning it took about 1/2 an hour for eveyone to entangle themselves...

Sleeping in a tent with people you're only reasonably good friends with doesn't quite have the same effect. Not unpleasant, but not loved-up and at ease with the world.
