but if you're handling L/C business and payment comes via 4 banks for an invoice due in our system on 31st Jan - it's going to be overdue no matter how often or how loud you shout at me. (maybe you should get the sales and logistics teams to time their shipments better?)

and yes, we have a month end EVERY MONTH! imagine that. So don't suddenly wake up on 29th and think "I know, I'll tell Sho how to do her job. She really appreciates that because she's only been here 2 weeks... oh wait, did I say 2 weeks I meant 13 YEARS but I'll tell her and shout anyway"

No, they wait for someone else to take it out of science fiction and prove it works first, then they polish it and claim they invented it. Apparently.

Where have I been? Well, I've either been blissfully happy, downright angry, or completely indifferent at various times and places. But this is the first time in ten years that I have been possessed of a truly petty hate.

Adverts - especially on radio - that tell you to "click" on the website whose url they then give you. There are no hyperlinks in radio.

And anyway, how do you click on a website? You type in the URL or get there via google. This is one that's been bugging me, too.

Knowing the email I sent to certain people in Canada means it'll be ignored and/or laughed at. Dear god I am insane. ... I'll follow up with a phone call next week. Eep.

pre-filled forms on teh interwebs that tell you that you've filled them in wrong.

I've just contacted the after sales support for a large company and entered my house number and post code. It filled in the form for me but when I tried to submit it, it seems that I need to put the town in because it has self filled my home 'city' but not 'town'.

In the UK we don't do:-

House number
Street
Town
City

And as I write this it seems to be such a petty hate that it probably only qualifies as a minor niggle. In fact, I'm not sure why I bothered even.
