But then so do I!!! I have been able to identify episodes like that for years! I think it is a male thing. I swear girls don't do it...

I can do that with Star Trek: The Next Generation episodes. I once flipped past an episode of that show, and saw a shot of them all standing on the bridge. From that half-second shot, I could recognize which episode it was, how it was going to end, and approximately which season it was.

I HATE the Simpsons show. There was actually a time when my children were young that i banned them from watching it whilst all their friends were glued to it every Saturday Night! I view it as a family who's major premmis is to under achieve! Total Negativity. I certainly don't find them funny. However- I do think that they truely represent the mainstream of America. Yes, I'm NOT American!!!

But they are not all under-achievers. Alright, Homer is. So is Bart. Marge may never have achieved much, but she lives in hope. Lisa, however, is an absolute achiever. Grade A student, top of class, potential President, all of that stuff.

And it's proved in one episode that the Simpson males aren't strictly under-achieving, but rather have reduced potential. All Simpson men are stupid. That's genetics for you.

The Simpson women, though, are doctors and polititians and such like. No under-achievers there!
