Welcome!

Me

I thought I should finally put something here for you to read, ...
I am still reeling from the shock of graduating from university and being stuck in a job I don't really like. If it wasn't for h2g2, I'd crack up altogether!

Update: March 2003. I am now resigned to not being at university any more. I still hate my job, but I have handed in my notice and am out of here on 18th April so that I can pack up and go travelling round the world - hooray! Bubbly all round!! First stop South Africa, then Australia, revisit New Zealand and on to Canada/USA, via Fiji and Hawaii. Any tips much appreciated!
A paradise island... aaaah!

If anybody has any advice for me about planning a year long round-the-world trip, I'd love to hear it.

When I was in New Zealand in 2001, I did one of these:

Someone skydiving

I hasten to add that this isn't actually me, I 'borrowed' this picture from h2g2! Can't wait for the opportunity to do another one!

Useless stuff

Umm...what else to say??

At the present time, I love the Norah Jones CD, the Buena Vista Social Club CD, the Stereophonics and plenty of cheesy 80s hits.

I am also particularly fond of The Office and recently discovered a hitherto unknown appreciation of Alan Partridge.

Well, that's about all I can be bothered typing. Feel free to leave a message. Or not. Whatever takes your fancy.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
