Will you tell them or shall I...that they can't spell 'Desiato'?

So what did you score?
Apparently I'm a Sad Geezer, only rating between 45% and 70%.

Gnomon - time to move on Posted Nov 14, 2002
Since two of the three possible answers are right in each question, and in some cases all three are right, you'd be hard put to get less than about 70% (which is what I got).

45-70, but the personality test was spookily accurate.

At first I was quite impressed, because it said "You thought this test was rubbish." And then, as I read the more detailed list I realised I was right.

Hmm, not only are multiple options valid for each question, none of the options for any of the questions are wholly correct, and there are spelling mistakes galore. Oh well. It's also totally biased towards the TV series.
It also doesn't know that DNA is dead and thus not a suitable target for the submission of fan-written episodes.
I got in excess of 70% and am apparently hopelessly addicted to Hitchhiker's. That's about the long and short of it I guess.

Well aren't we sad for doing the test?
It's one of those where you can see what to answer to be in a certain category. I don't imagine it's so sophisticated that particular answers will trigger different personality descriptions for the same score.

Tried it once choosing answers with care and got above 70%. Refreshed the quiz and just hit 'rate me' without changing the default answers and got above 70%
Proving?
Um, that yes, we're probably quite sad. And possibly insecure/egotistical for wishing to find out what a stranger's comuter really thinks of us.

"Your partner and friends are p****d off at your continual references to each episode and none of them watch the series as a result. This really upsets you - after all, how can any serious friend NOT watch Hitch Hikers?" How did it know?

Over 70% which is a bit odd really as I,
1) don't care much for the books
2) thought the TV series was complete rubbish
3) can't really remember the radio series, it was so long ago.

Yes, ditto.
We've been hanging around here too long, GD.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
