Socked in yesterday by what was trying to become a tropical wave. Over one inch of rain in a steady British-style drizzle for sixteen hours.

This morning is green and verdant with a temperature of 81F/27C, which is very, very nice.

What started out as a drizzle day on Saturday has finished up with 15 inches of rain over four days. Luckily no wind or we would have had the big trees down. Two inches rain this morning at high tide left a foot of water in the streets downtown.

Temp is a crispy 77F/25C, with mist. Cold front coming tonight will drop us to 69F. Time to break out the wooley-pulleys.
