Really fierce, short sharp thunderstorm this afternoon. At 10 to 4 I was driving my daughter to a party, the temperature guage in the car was 27 degrees, the windows were open, and we were singin along to Pink.
Then, the sky took on this really evil greenish black tinge, the temperature plummeted to 17, heavy rain started and the wind blew up something rotten. I had the windscreen wipers on full speed, and the lights on it was so dark.
I was cursing myself for having left the appartment windows open, and when I got home 20 minutes later, the wind had blown all the patio furniture about, and pulled the shutter out of its tracking

Hong Kong 5.30 pm. It's just stopped raining after 24 hour thunderstorm. Most impressive. There was 46.7mm of rain yesterday (up to 80mm on Lantau island) and about the same today I would guess. The short answer is "wet"

Hey, person in Newport. I'm jealous. I'm in Swansea, and it's horribly cloudy! I've got a nice view of the bay from my office window, but it's all grey at the moment.

Lovely sunny start to the day, light sea breezes and little cotton wool ball clouds. It'll probably be raining before lunchtime
