Hot? Hot starts at about 21, 22 degrees C in the UK. Much higher than that and it is officially a 'scorcher'
Oh, and it is now absolutely tipping it down with rain, and I'm fearing lightning strikes on my TV aerial at any moment as the the thunder goes crash around my ears

I daresay this site has been mentioned in this thread before (its a year and three days since I last posted!) but anyway: http://www.weatherpixie.com/ - for where I live (near manchester airport) it's scarily accurate!
Its pretty grey here at 6.49am - intermittant showers.

In LA, we're in the middle of our 'June Gloom' which started early this year in mid-May because we had a warm winter. It doesn't rain, but the mist isn't very high either. The sun never or rarely comes out, and even when it does, it's quickly swallowed up again by solid low clouds. 70F high, maybe 10 less at night.

Right now near Manchester (2003-06-24) it's sunny with a few fluffy white clouds. Just been out to have a good look at the sun (projection through binoculars, NEVER EVER look at the sun through binoculars/telescopes, sight is a precious thing, don't lose it through your own negligence) and there are several sunspots (a group of three and one on it's own near the opposite side to the group).
