The day is bright and sunny but with quite a lot of high level cloud giving the sky a white washed out look.

Bright and sunny with scattered clouds. Mild too, about 15c. Apparently we're due more rain in the afternoon though.

Lovely surprise in the Northeast of Brasil. It is about 26°C and raining a lot. Walls leak, roads are flooded, people wear their winter clothes. This is winter here!

From hot sunny days to a day of wind and cloud. At the moment lots big medium fluffy clouds are moving swiftly across the sky as the wind has picked up from the east. In the sun and out of the wind it is still warm.

It's just another day in paradise here

1512 15 May 2005 Los Angeles,

Beautiful warm weather, a light breeze so not much smog yet, nary a cloud in the sky. It's still been raining a bit. I was in the Malibu hills two weeks ago, and instead of goldenbrown dried grass, the wildflowers and plants are greener than green and are still wildly in bloom. I have never seen so many natives in full show in at least three decades.

And as far as the hummingbirds are concerned, the sticky monkey is still up and blooming wildly long past it's normal seasons, too. I saw a hummer zip-zip nabbing no-see-'ums near a waterfall, and it would pause and park itself on the water (this is a California waterfall, so not much water and very thin on the rocks). It would then pause for a bath and splatter a full-foot of fine cloud of glistening silver through the sunlight. You wouldn't think such a teensy thing could blast that much liquid.

Wow that was very thorough. I'm in Chicago and I was just going to right, "Gray and fairly cool". It was sunny earlier but still pretty cool...that is all.

Reasonanly warm, about 12c already. Sunny start but it's clouded over a bit now. Got sunburned at the weekend!

A grey a dreary start to the day and it looks as if it will carry on like this. Shame as it was so nice over the weekend.

It's cloudy and cold at the minute, but it has been really sunny.

Well, as described in my journal, we've been having some rather odd weather recently.

Tonight there is suppossedly another big strong weather front, or, as the media inaccurately called the last, tornado, although it's not seeming to be happening yet. It's been raining since before lunch, quite heavily, and the winds are beginning to begin.

Lets hope it doesn't cause the damage of the last one, yet we get another day of school.
