Should I get a haircut?
Xanatic Posted Dec 6, 2001
I'd say don't get the haircut. Just get some gel and put in your hair and make it stand straight up into the air. Will look great if you got long hair
But what about me, what kind of hair cut should I get?

same one I suggested for the other bloke - shave half of it off - either the front half or right hand side and leave the rest long

Hmm, the mop's getting a bit unkempt again, as those who met me Saturday can testify.
Should I leave it as it is? Or get it shorn again?

I quite like it as it is - I say not right now, but go for a trim in a couple of months
(Actually, I've been flirting with the idea of a radical style change (ie, the current length is really starting to p**s me off), however, close friends have said it looks really nice as it is...)

I forgot where I stand on the issue.
Just put me down for disagree with the majority.

Erk.
I now have a 'number 2' all over. I now look like Vincent Cassel in 'La Haine'...

I never like to go shorter than number three. Number three all over is the closest you can talk about and remain unambiguous.

How about me? Should I get a haircut?

The first two show how long it is now. The last one, with my hair all swaddled, gives an idea of what I might look like with it cut.

No dude, wait until everyone around you is totally familiar and comfortable with Longhair Gonzo, THEN cut it.
My friends always disagree with my style ideas ("Should I grow my hair long again?" "NO! You'd look like a hippy". "Should I colour my beard green today?" "NO! Don't be ridiculous!") until I actually carry them out, at which point everyone gasps and says "Wow, it actually looks really cool! You should keep it like that" as if they think their opinion will make any difference.

This must be the most asked question in hootoo.I've lost count of the number of times it has been asked by someone. As I've never met you, laid eyes on you it is an extremely difficult question to answer.Like being asked how long is a piece of string. However I will point out that there is software available for about a tenner where you can scan in your image and then try a variety of differant hairstyles(and make up)to see what would suit you.Why not try that?
Incog.

A tenner? You mean there's software you have to pay money for?
*ponders*
Nah - don't understand the concept. Stuff that - just get the haircut.
(I would like to point out at this point that I've just got in from the pub and therefore anything I say right now is not altogether reliable )
Does it make any difference that this thread is months old? i expect the haircut concerned has happened. Or not.

The haircut has indeed occurred. Several times. I now have 'number-1' length hair all over.
Oh, and sideburns. Can't forget those, no sir.
