Ever bought on-line? If so - what?
Is mise Duncan Started conversation Oct 17, 2001
I've used the internet to buy airline tickets, concert tickets and one book.
I've never bought anything else on line - has anybody?

I've bought:
books,
airline tickets,
tickets to a theme park,
CDs,
batteries and a powersupply for a laptop computer,
a recorder (musical instrument),
a click-on cover and case for a mobile phone,
sheet music.

Cds, jewellery, clothes, groceries, books, PCs, computer hardware, software, Christmas cards, cinema and theatre tickets, books and I am sure there is more, but can't remember what.

I've bought some posters that are still in the box.
A decorated knife that was quite expensive(Didn't help when customs demanded the same price for taking it into the country)
Airline and train tickets
Books
T-shirts
Now something else I want to know. How many of you guys have actually pressed a banner?

I've bought airline tickets, booked hotel rooms, one CD - it took 3 months to come (that's why I've only ever bought one), an inflatable mattress, ladies underwear, men's swimwear and various 'gadgets' from the Gadget Shop - nothing odd about me!!

I've brought a CD by a band that isn't very popular in England On-line. And I once clicked a banner add that promised to kill me if I didn't.
I used to go on Yahoo! a lot, but I don't think I have in months.

Couple of books that I couldn't easily get locally from a South American river. I'm still a bit wary of buying online, although you're probably more likely to get ripped off over the phone.

I buy books on-line fairly regularly, including second-hand books. But six months of grocery shopping on-line completely dwarfed the amount of money I'd been spending on books.

Lots of things.
mainly DVDs, Music CDs books and vinyl records. But also Contact Juggling balls, Video Editing computer cards and funnily enough Transformer toys (I collect them, or try too...).

Hundreds of books and a few airline tickets and I'd like to get something from Purple Jenny, but I can't think where to ask her to send it. I never click banners.

Just the once.
I was emailed that e-toys was having a closing down sale.
I couldn't believe the prices, I spent around £36, and ended up with over a hundred quids' worth of stuff, not just toys, I also got myself an unusual jigsaw. The Pokemon Master game was an absolute bargain at £10, my son still plays with it and the cd still works...
There was only one item I'd ordered which wasn't supplied.
I get emailed to buy online all the time, I have a Tesco card & I must have given them my email addy because they keep asking me to order online, which I have so far resisted as it's £5 delivery charge.
I don't click banners.

Books, CDs, videos, DVDs, clothes. I only buy online if the price, including delivery charges, is less than I would pay at the local shops. It can be with CDs, but a lot of the time and with a lot of products, it isn't. Besides, I like to browse through books before I decide whether to buy, which you can't online. I also like to try clothes on before I buy, to check for fit.

Tickets, PC bits.
I've never clicked on a banner. In fact, I use software to strip them out.

I hate banners too - most annoying!
I have bought shed-loads on-line.
Hitch-Hikers on video
many other videos
CDs
Lots of books
Shoes
Clothes
A pine blanket chest
an orgasmatron (not rude, honest)
toys
flowers
tarot cards
that's all I can think of for now. I don't like real shopping much you see. Especially coming up to Christmas
