I didn't feel like exercising my brain yesterday, so I started The Magician's Nephew by C.S. Lewis. I'm also reading Eagle in the Sky by Wilbur Smith.

The Portrait of a Lady -Henry James and John Donne-poetry as a result of reading:
A Presumption of Death and Thrones, Dominations-Jill Paton Walsh finishing off (TD) and writing a new "Dorothy L Sayers story" they're both good books

She's come undone by Wally Lamb,starting with 13teen year-old girl left by her father, mother going crazy, she has to move to her religious granny.
Not yet started to read: That old ace in the hole by Annie Proulx

just finished "broken angels" by richard morgan and "the da vinci code" by dan brown
starting "retribution" by jilliane hoffman,
reading "dragon's lair" by sharon kay penman at the gym,
and "loves music, loves to dance" by mary higgins clark when stuck in traffic or in waiting rooms

Currently, a book on Eva Peron, The Diaries of Sylvia Plath, A book on Ancient Egyptian Magic, A book about the way people's view of death has changed, Kushiel's Chosen and my fat hitchiker's book (it has the first 4 books in one).
I like variety.

Now reading Legend: Genesis of Civilisation by David Rohl.
An interesting archaeological book which looks at the location of the Flood, the Garden of Eden and so on using Biblical, Sumerian, Egyptian, Babylonian and Akkadian myths and epics as well as conventional archaeology.

In The Hand of Dante by Nick Tosches, pretty excellent
some works by the Marquis de Sade
Fear and Loathing in America, letters of Hunter S. Thompson, once in awhile, for fun, to guide me on the path of literary madness

Fool’s Fate – the final part of the epic series by Robin Hobb. I’ll be to finish this one. As it’s to big and bulky to carry round with me at work I’m reading Geisha of Gion by Mineko Iwasaki.
