Andy Williams - Can't take my eyes off you
Part of the set list for my next gig - all '60's, Tommy Roe, Dusty Springfield, Ike & Tina Turner, Bob Dylan, etc.
Quite a departure from my usual gig material - Korn, System of a Down, the Wombles....

"Two Rainy Nights" - Joe Jackson
And as I recall there are 9 parts to "Shine On You Crazy Diamond", despite the fact that CD re-issues seem to have amalgamated 1-5 and 6-9 into parts one and two.

Yeah, On the 'Echos' CD, it has Parts 1-7 on it, and on the 'Wish you were here' CD, it says only two parts.
I scrounged through my dad's record collection and found the 'Wish you were here' Record, and found it had 9 parts...

Gabe Dixon Band - On A Rolling Ball
I've never heard the version on 'Echoes' but it must be a bit strange having the whole 'start of the album' half of 'Shine On..' and a little of the 'end of the album' half tacked on. Knowing The Floyd though it will work seamlessly
The Australian Pink Floyd (who you really ought to go see) play parts 1-9 without breaks in their gigs sometimes. Absolutely awesome.

i'm not listening to music right now,
don't have a cow,
don't say wow,
why'd you hit me 'Oww',
i'm just rapping,
i'm not clapping,
i'm just singing this song,
i won't be long,
i don't wanna bore you,
that's why i won't rap about pikachu,
that's from pokemon, if you don't know,
if santa was here he'd say 'Ho Ho Ho',
and dance to the tune that i rap,
please don't tell me my song's reallt crap,
say something nice, say something cool,
don't make me into a fool,
this is just music, like the stuff you're listening to right now,
let me repeat, don't have a cow.

Pink Floyd - Terminal Frost (from a new addition to my collection: A Momentary Lapse of Reason) Nice saxophone!
*catches up with backlog*
JJ - Yes, there are 9 parts. (I know this has already been answered, but I thought I'd say anyway) I've got the CD reissue though (I wasn't on this Earth during the vinyl era I'm afraid), where it's only in two tracks. The computer labelled them Pts 1-5 and 6-9 when I copied them on here though.
Psycho Chicken - I disagree. Another way to enjoy the music of Yes is to have their entire back catalog on random play on the computer! OK, so I'm not there yet, but my 3hr 20min playlist (5 albums) is also a nice way to spend an afternoon (or evening, ar morning... etc.)
