Blues? *chuckles* Blues is my specialty on this here box.
*starts strumming*
Well I'm a steam roller baby
Gonna roll all over you
Said I'm a steam roller baby

Go for it...even fishes need a little love....
And I don't eat anything that can carry on conversation...

*emerges from hiding behind a rock*
Thanks for that reassurance BB
It's certainly OK to hug a Coelacanth, especially one that has been in a sack, poked with a stick and had bagels thrown at it! Just hope no one minds all the wet fins.
How did I get in the sack anyway - can anyone tell the story.....?

Gwennie Posted Feb 24, 2000
I don't know how you got there Coelacanth but let's just blame the Countryside Alliance - they support cruelty to innocent beasties!
*Munches on cookie, smiles sweetly and passed dead sombrero back to BB...*
Maybe we could give it a burrial in the sand.
Ooh, Mari-rai! Is there any more of that Martini over there?
*Wanders off humming to the blues tune...*

Girlfriend, there is plenty of plenty here. Flops down in the sand next to 'Nonnie. Let's hear your story Coelsy.

The LAST thing I remember is a net. All my fins were caught. Remember, I'm not usually this close to the shore. I live in the depths.....?

Gwennie Posted Feb 25, 2000
Ouch! That nearly singed my toes! *Sips on Martini which has been blasted to hot toddie status...* Hmmm! Not bad. *Produces jar of honey and some spices* May as well go the whole hog...
Anyone else for a hot toddy?
Watch where you're spitting next time or I won't share this lovely jar of honey with you BB...

Kumabear Posted Feb 25, 2000
oops!... Honey?...Did you say honey?! It just keeps getting better and better....
Your'e just lucky I don't have a can of wd40 on hand. The last bonfire I attended (actual, not virtual) I nearly blew my freakin' arm off! Accidently lit my favorite blanket on fire as well.
*Fills tin cup with whiskey and places near big heat source*

*Wriggles backward from the bonfire out of harm's way.*
I'm hungry. That Bear is always eating something. All we have are olives.
*Mari-rae gets up and walks off along the darkness of the shore. After a time she comes back laden with many large white somewhat greasy cardboard boxes. The boxes are steamy and the smell is heavenly.*
Pizza everyone! Some with everything, some just cheese, some with a bit of this and that. There's a carryout place down the beach. I noticed the path coming here from the Beer Pool. They have carnival rides, arcade games and free drinks. Its all on a huge pier.

Monkey Boys swings over head on a vine throwing bags of cookies to the ground. Cookie bags sprout legs and run to the feet of everyone by the fire, open themselves and offer the cookies around.
Try these, they're lovely animated love cookies!!!

Do I smell pizza? I'm trying to light a bonfire before I tell my story. Can anyone bring the pizza boxes over?

Anonymouse Posted Feb 26, 2000
*Still unsure of the "The Co-Fishy" bit, but *hugs* Co anyway*
*nibbles cookie, makes a dive for the nearest cheese&mushroom pizza*
The Whiskey Ocean
Gwennie Posted Feb 26, 2000
*Passed spare jar of honey and spices to BB and cautiously moves back from fire...*
It sounds as though you don't have much luck with bon fires, BB... Don't you think it's be a good idea to move that whiskey - I know you want a hot toddy but you may end up with singed fur!
I don't suppose there are any vegan type pizza snacks in that box? *Looks hopeful...*

Sure Gwennie, help yourself. They have everything over on that pier. Games, food, rides, sideshows.
