John the gardener says, "Free Tibet!" Posted Mar 14, 2004
Hi, everyone.
I'd like to write about 'Ayatollahs in Iran', a subject I know almost nothing about. I do have a beard though and the lady who works in the pizza shop down the road is from Iran... honestly.

Beard or otherwise, John, you are more than welcome to write about the Ayatollahs.

I might be wrong, but it seems that no-one has taken the H.Bomb one...
If I'm right and it's still available, I'm willing to work on it...

The H-bomb is well covered... A draft should be available any day now...
But there is one question that I really need to ask:
Why is it listed in the 1951 section?!...
I even had a look at the website that inspired this project and the _few_ lines about the subject mentioning 1950 with Truman ordering the development of the H-bomb and 1952 with its result...
But there is nothing at all regarding 1951...
If you want to leave it listed for 1951, it's fine of course []... It's only a question of wording my first part in a different way, but I thought I would ask first... Just in case...
[It would really look strange though as there is definitely absolutely nothing about 1951. ]
I learned a lot while researching the subject by the way...
I even got an idea for a great story for future submission to the AWW out of it ...
Something that I could not include in the mini-entry unfortunately as that would not exactly fit in the EG guidelines somehow...
Talk soon...

I know you're waiting on the last few stragglers, unfortunately my last few are going to be at least a week more. I still have homeless vets and foreign debts I think... but due to a shake-up at work I'm buried at the moment. I may have some time to get back to them after next week, but if someone beats me to them I promise I won't be offended.

There is absolutely no rush. I am a damn sight more certain that this project is going to get finished now, so there's much less harrassing going on than I thought I would be doing.
Take your time, broe. Oh - and you said you'd do Studebaker as well.

Sorry for the delay. Here, at last is my contribution, Ayatollahs in Iran: A516313.
Looking at some of your other segment just now, mine seems a bit puny by comparison. There's obviously a lot more that could be said on the subject. I stuck to a sort of capsule comment, covering, I hope, the reference to Ayatollahs in the song. Please let me know if you want me to add more detail.
