FS What an admission!
Thanks T - good idea. And any more experiences of h2g2ers re. the Ballad of Davy Crockett would be much appreciated.

Good collaborative work, that's what I like to see.
I know nothing about the song, that's why I'm mostly asking people to write this project for me.

Sneaky... I knew it Master B. Just pure sneaky...
Now, come on, don't tell me you don't remember the Ballad of DC?
We had an old dining room/kitchen table up in the attic which was called Davy Crockett's House. Never anything else. And if I mention Davy Crockett's House to any of my brothers now, they'll picture that table. Must have been my eldest brother - oh, and possibly Dad - who named it, cos he was born 1950

I bet it was Dad, I was born in '51 and in the mid 50's DC was every boy's hero.
Yes there are still a few of us around!

I suppose I'll take California Baseball.
I really don't want to, but it doesn't look like anyone else will and I don't want Master B writing about baseball...

Jodan - baseball? You do surprise me
I have forgotten what I said I would do - moon landing, but there is a good project entry on that already. What was the other one

I promised myself - no more baseball entries for a while. But that doesn't mean no baseball contributions
I'm saving myself until opening day to begin writing entries about baseball again.
Oh, and I'm done. I'll go post in the other thread.

I see Palestine is still free. I'm willing to give it a bash. (Not literally of course - others have got their first...)

Jodan - I'd assumed you were going to write it anyway.
Mort - Berlin.
sprout - Palestine is all yours (which is more than we can say for the Palestinians ).
Thanks one and all.

Jodan - yup, you can have Wheel of Fortune as long as you write (or at least link to your existing entries) on the baseball ones.
