h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I've just started seeing this new bloke from work...(i know, you're thinking theres a problem here already! we don't see eachother all the time at work though). And we get along well, but he seems like he's not really bothered, we go out together on our dinner breaks, but then when it gets to the weekend, he doesn't seem bothered about seeing me. Like we were supposed to be going out on Saturday night, but on Friday, he went out and so on Saturday he had a hangover, therefore no night out... so i say well what are you doing on Sunday and he just says playing football and then watching England play !

It seems like because we see eachother at work, then he feels like we don't have to see eachother any other time, but then i think, am i just wanting too much too soon?

Hmmmmmm I'd sit him down n have a word with him. I wouldn't be too quick to jump to the conclusion that
he's just after a bit of distraction at work (though it's possible),he may just be being a clueless lad, he may not have muh experience of relationships an not want to seem to keen etc.. you won't know till you have it out with him.

Oh yes, I can vouch for that (don't ask me how I found this thread )

We really are a lesser species - he might not even realise something's going on, or might not know what to do to take the next step (we can really be that naive some of us!)

Or he may be a complete - we're creatures of extremes too.

I did the work thing once - all well and good when things are going smoothly...
