There's more than one. One near each wall, to be exact.

you didn't specify which arm grabbed him, you didn't even specify that there /was/ another arm, and you can't do it after the fact. There is another arm ok, but it hasn't been used yet

*Mourryan places a proximity mine in the air vent he entered through, and chucks a grenade at MaW and the acid bottles*

Um. The arm is now swinging at you, still. And, the mine will probably go off pretty quick, with all the action. Those things work off of heat signatures...

HDS, will you please refrain from taking further action when the only thing that's happened is an OOC comment, which doesn't advance time. It's like stealing extra turns or something

* MaW is extremely grateful for his sinister black coat, which is largely immune to such inconveniences as concentrated hydrochloric acid being splashed on it. He does move out of the range of the puddles though, because not all his clothing is so well-designed. Backing up against another cupboard, he looks around to see if there's any help on the way *

Proximity mine detonaters are almost always pressure. Close pressure of a certain type and within a certain range of pressures sets off the mine. This is so that anti-personel mines will detonate when a person is near (pressure of human range body weight, but not when its a dog or a tank or a nearby explosion)

*Shoots out the primary hydrolic, the arm drops dead, promptly hides*

*The arm falls onto a table, flinging acids over at the area where Mourrayan was last.*

There's really no place to hide in here. It's just long rows of lab tables, mechanical arms, and equipment on top.

*Chronos flips from the disabled arm that grabbed him and lands on a table, chronos lines up his gun on MaW and fires a tranq at his left arm*

you can hide behind tables and crates. And as this is a lab most things are probably built or coated with non-reactive substances.

*Mourryan was lucky enough to be under a table when the acid splashed and he was safe. Mourryan crawled under more tables and behind more crates*

Question, am I being too effective for a member of the goverment? I mean, should i do something..well kinda dumb? to stay in character?

That's not a bad idea. My first intention was for the government to act all cool, and there to be a lot of them, but be rather bumbling... it'd be fun for the Gov., and rather balanced.

I'm not so sure about this tranquiliser dart in my arm... oh wait, that's an in-character reaction

* MaW pulls the tranquiliser dart out as soon as he feels it hit his arm, but a few moments later his vision starts to get blurry and the room begins (to his perspective) to sway *

*Hears a thud, peeks over the table in the direction it came from*

*The door behind MaW slams open, carrying a screaming SPARTAN inside his unwilling suit. It immediatly opens fire on Mourryan's upraised head, bending down to sling MaW over his shoulder, and wafting some anti-sedatives from an opened vial of its med-kit.*

*Mourryan ducks at the sound of the door slamming open, and is lucky to do so, the table shakes under the fire of the bullets. Mourryan spots a crate that has RPGs in it and breaks it open, gets one out and fires the rocket at the Sartan suit*

Dude, remember the rules. This is a lab, with lab equipment. They wouldn't have RPGs down here... Point 7 on the weapons section - A1020402
