As the Terranic Government has orbital mass drivers and a computer that possesses Artificial Intelligence, I think that the weapons should be updated aswell.
The following should be developed:
1. Gauss weapons(the United States Navy is doing this right now)
2. plasma weapons (the United States Air Force is doing this right now. They have succesfuly tested 2 different designs, one of which shot down 2 missiles with one shot)
3. Magnetic anti-ballistic shields (While attempting to make rail guns and gauss rifles viable the United States Navy is also atempting to invent a magnetic shield which can protect against the same kind of weapons)
4. denser armor materials should be invented. (the United States Army and Navy are constantly searching for the latest alloys to outfit their vehicles and ships with such as the depleted uranium alloy on the M1A1 Abrahms tank)
5. More usefull nano-tech. I don't know what the nano-tech does here in terrania but it could probly be improved on.

Okay. Some of these might not show up for a while, and the nanotech won't be amazing yet also, but you'll eventually start seeing some. And remember the idiot factor...

is it ok that I build my own gauss weapons? since the Isard family have been weapon engineers for centuaries and we have figure out how to make them small and powerfull?
because if there is no gauss tech at all in the terranic gov then the rebels woulbn't have it either and that would mean Craxus and others would need to be corrected.

Mystrunner Posted Jan 2, 2003
Probably not. If the Terranic Gov. doens't know how yet, odds are that neither would you. Be patient, you'll get nice things soon enough...

Mystrunner Posted Jan 2, 2003
Oh, and I'll correct Craxus. No gauss! Bad Rebels! Etc.
The list's been updated... and completing missions and extra info may speed up processes, even.

Ok, really good bullets for my guns it is. and I'll have to add a really big spring piston thingy to the sawed off Boffur's gun, that way I can still use it.

Remember! The best way to find out what is going on is to use the Terranic HQ's main supercomputer!

Some more suggestions.
1) As we will soon have energy weapons for vehicles, how about some energy shields?
2) How about some energy weapons for the infantry and aircraft as well?
3) How about anti-balistic shields for infantry?
4) And how about energy shields for infantry too?

Mystrunner Posted Jan 10, 2003
I can comply with three immediatly.
The others will take a bit.

got another shiney idea, how about an infantry flack cannon? Like the sawed off Boffur's gun I was toting for a while? It would have to come with either a powered infatry armor (another idea) or its own anti-grav devise to make it light enough or the soldier strong enough for it to be more use than burden.
so in short:
1. Mobile Infantry flack cannon
2. powered infantry armor (the Marine Corps is working on this even now! varouis designs are being put through the proving grounds.)

I don't know if you're aware of it, but the Swedish navy have a stealthed warship afloat. Maybe some of the Terranic Ships should incorporate this tech?

Interesting. I'll look into it, but odds are that there are already a few patroling out there...

More requests.
1. Twin Ion Engined Space/atmospheric superiority fighter (TIE fighter) with rapid fire plasma cannons, bomb racks, and rocket pods.
2. Fixed length magneticly contained plasma melee weapons(Lightsabers)
3. Rocket packs that work

Hmm... number two is a no-no, but the others... hmmm... I'm gonna update it right now.
