How 'bout dem Seachickens?

How about the bloke who holds the coaches headset wires?

Cable guy!!! Coach Dahlquists cable guy is the Glasgow Tigers's game day manager and the bringer of oranges at half time.

I know.. For some reason we're never very nice to him, though. DOn't really know why. Could be because he's a besserwisser, someone who thinks he has all the answers to everything...
I dunno.. He does bring great oranges, though.

Yup, I'll reture gracefully from my tentative position as TE on the h2g2 squad in favour of being cable guy and bringer of oranges. Sorted.

Sharkey, you can't be the Cable Guy.. We don't have a Head Coach who requires cables being carried around for him.
You could bring us oranges, though.

Word (Brian Davis, at Seattle's radio/announcing booth) has it that Anthony Simmons and Antonio Cochran have already reached agreement to stay. We offered deals to all eight of our restricted free agants, and Ferguson has said very firmly that wil will be concentrating on re-signing players before going into free agency.
Significantly, he said of the FS position 'We know there are a couple of guys we can talk to.'

And it's official. Simmons is one less impact linebacker left in the free agent pool.
Both he and DE Antonio Cochran (another of Holmgren's favourite young guys), sined multi-year deals yesterday...

Well, as you have no first round pick this year, how do you go about getting after a franchised tagged player?
How 'bout dem Seachickens?
FiedlersFizzle Posted Mar 4, 2003
Spikes has been tagged as a transition player, not franchised, meaning there is no compensation, it just means the Bengals have the right to match any offer... It's still unlikely as the Fins do not really have the cap room to make an offer the Bengals won't match!!
Just read, well last night, that Hugh Douglas is visiting with the Hawks toady (Tuesday 4 March)... if he likes it there may be a contract signed in the next day or so...

Hmm, well, we shall have to wait and see.
I hadn't fully appreciated the difference between a franchised and transition player...

Well, with his track record I'm assuming so...I find it interesting that the exudus from Bidwell land has started almost immediately that he's left...

I suspect with Arizona it was probably on the cards..(eurp.. sorry!) anyway, irrespective of Fergusons position... apparently McGinnis is a good coach to play for and I suspect their suspect tradition and the great Bidwell himself is the problem...
Do you have full access where you are? If so, any closure on the Plummer and Gardener visits to Denver... last night it all seemed set to be a done deal...

Nothing on NFl.com. Interesting I hadn't realised Denard Walker was up for grabs...surely somebody will help him find a home?
