clck26=The Cloak of Mirroring.

In SoA this fancy Item would reflect Offensive Spells back towards the Spellcaster; this had the rather humorous effect of making you essiantially invulnerable to Mages and Beholders, whilst you stand there and watch them get killed by their own spells. In ToB the Cloak was weakened to prevent this; it will still stop the spells but doesn't return them to the Caster. Deleting the file "clck26" from your Override folder will restore it to its original strength.

In addition; since Irenicus is a Mage, the Cloak made the Final Battles ludicrously simple.

I wonder if that is what happened to my BG copies, I was told to insert the orginal cds and I found shouting at the monitor 'They ~are~ the smiley - bleep origianal cds you stupid smiley - bleep machine!' didn't have much effect. smiley - erm

Well, the trouble is that I didn't have ToB installed yet while playing BG2 (my hard drive is getting way too crowded) - and I never did find the Cloak of Mirroring, which made the battle with Irenicus a pretty tough one (I lost Imoen).

Well, I'm not going to start all over again on the BG2 (which seems to be the only way to get to the Sahuagin city, because once you've left you can't return) but it's a pity I never found that coat, it would have made some battles a *lot* easier...

Has anyone else noticed the healing powers of Devas? I was fighting Balthazar (in Throne of Bhaal) when I got hurled off into a wall by one of his spells, together with a monk who had been slashing away at me while I was slashing away at Balthazar.

One of my devas stopped fighting Balthazar and came rushing after me and started healing me!smiley - bigeyes

I am still hopelessly addicted to SWG, my character is developing a personality of her own and I'm having great fun! She even has a string of admirers!

Star Wars: Galaxies, a highly interactive game. I haven't been interested in any other SW games, but this one is sinking it's hooks into me.

Be warned once you are into it (and it does take a while to get to grips with) you will have no life, muhahahah!

No I can't do that. Baldur's Gate is giving me no life right now. Besides, I don't have any Free Space on my Hard Drive.

Ah, then you need to do what every dedicated gamer should, get a big tower box so that you have room to stuff more hard drives in it, I have four smiley - tongueout

Then we just need to work on a way of getting more hours in a day smiley - erm

See, I would try that. Unfortunately I have to go to school each day for seven hours straight. Which rather removes that option.

Romance? In BG 2? How come I didn't know about this?smiley - yikes

Oh, hang on... I've always played as a female, and females only have one choice - Anomen - and I always found him to be a whimp, so I never included him in my party...

Now, if they'd included Yoshimo, or better yet - Irenicus - *that* could have turned into quite an interesting - ahem - relationship...smiley - evilgrin

*sulking about male characters having three females to choose from*

Well if you got a mod you could Romance Kelsey, Imoen, Chloe, and Soulafein, that I know of. Plus you can trick the game into Lesbian Romancing Viconia, Aerie, and Jaheira if you wanted.

And that's just for female characters. You can also get Valen, Soulafein, Tashia, and Imoen for the guys. And then there's still a lot more NPCs who can't be Romanced.
