Tink, you don't 'have' to do the exhibition, there's lots more to see at the museum, including a really good hands-on hall (it's supposed to be for kids, but Grandad & I love it ), or you could even join us later (after the shopping )

h2g2 AND Star Trek?!? I'm even willing to miss a match for that combination, as long as you're willing to tolerate me swapping text messages with someone at the match!
I'll be McCoy. Out of all the original Star Trek characters, he'd have fitted into PUDDING best.

Ummmm... you're dressing up too?
*has an aversion to star trek and generally most sci-fi which is novel considering *

Ormondroyd Posted Aug 9, 2002
Don't panic, Tink! I wasn't planning to dress up, and I didn't get the impression that a fancy dress party was on the agenda. I thought people were just nominating the Star Trek character they most identified with. That's what I was doing, anyway!

Sorry to confuse you Tink, I'll own up, most people don't know what I've dubbed them . Take a look at the page, but don't forget, it's not nice to little old ladies
Ormy, it'll be great to see you again. I'll add you to the page pronto

It's life Jim, but not as we know it! I'm up for it1
Don't worry if I disappear - I'll be back. I have an PC at present. I know where it is, though.

Aha - the Admiral says she probably won't make the afternoon, but she'll join us for the evening festivities.

I'll be there, as long as I haven't got a gig that you can't make!
Have got some stuff coming up but not sure as to the dates yet. I'll keep you posted.

'I' will be there! Who wants to print 'me' out this time--or is there already a copy available?

Captain Kebab Posted Aug 12, 2002
Hmm - you don't want to trust yourself to my PC right now, Amy, it's a bit dodgy. I wouldn't like to lose you in somewhere in cyberspace.
It's a Saturday this time - does that mean we'll have a bit more time to try and get a phone that works, or do you work Saturdays?

I don't work Saturdays
But with how things have been, I can't guarentee I'll be home, either... (See my journal, though it looks like there won't be any emergency runs to Crescent City for awhile) But if someone gets a phone card and can't use it on me, it's not like it's wasted, anyway... (Do you still have the one you were supposed to get for the London meet, 'bell? Granny has my number...) And I started a thread to talk about that, anyway
