A very mild profanity or two on one of the pages. Not a swearword, and I don't think against the house rules either. But just thought I'd warn anyone easily offended.

Haven't time to read backlog but I will text you, Granny.
I'll be on a train appearing sometime before 2pm, at Manchester Piccadilly.
If no-one can meet me, I'll get a taxi from there to the museum, if it's just a walk away will someone please let me know!
See you all Saturday, I won't be able to stay long on the night doo, because I have to get home for Andrew, but I'll be there, at least.

My wife gave birth last night, to a 7lb girl called Sarah.
I certainly won't be imbibing on Saturday, and that's if I manage to come at all.
A shame, but nothing's going to spoil my mood today. Yippee!

So, that's Galaxy Babe finally getting to a northern meet, Geoffers becoming a dad, Clive's birthday yesterday, Croz's birthday Sunday, anyone else got anything to celebrate?
GB, got your txt. Our train doesn't get in till 13:25, but I'm waiting to hear from Clive. I think his train comes into Piccadilly. If all else fails, and one of our knights in beer-stained armour can't come to your rescue, there is a tram service from Piccadilly - very frequent & quite cheap but make sure you've got change. Thinking about it, Captain Kebab has given Ormondroyd some advice on how to get from Bradford a few postings back. I think you can get a direct ticket if you ask for it as the Metrolink or something; you need the GMex centre stop, and I'm pretty sure that there's directions on the Museum's page from there. It's very straight forward

Congratulations to Geoff and Mrs Geoff! Woohoo!!
AGB - no time to do a long post now, but you can get a tram direct from Piccadilly, and you can get a through ticket from any staffed rail station. Ask for Metrokink G-Mex or Metrolink City Zone. Or it's about £1.50 from the ticket machine. You should catch a tram destination Altrincham or Eccles - it's 4 stops, takes about 10 minutes, get off at G-Mex. The Metrolink is signposted from Piccadilly concourse - down the escalators - can't miss it.
