Not quite sure how 'Death and What comes After' could be considered to be earlier work when the copyright date is 2002....

Well have you got Pratchett's address so we could ask him (via letter obviously)?
You noticed how all these fans get his address but it's never said where they get it from!

I suppose the back of one of his books would be the place to start looking.

Well sending a letter just addressed to Whiltshire or wherever isn't gonna make the destination!

Terry Pratchett OBE
Behind a keyboard
Wiltshire.

It might work. Worth a try at least. And I suppose it might even get a meention in one of his books.
The Fifth Elephant
Researcher 185550 Posted Oct 8, 2003
Well, it would be nice, but I have to say I doubt it.

Not with you, but in the Companion's interview...
'I got this one which was just addressed Terry Pratchett etc.'
And I've got my thanks for discworld story on my page aswell while I'm plugging!

Sorry that last sentence didn't quite make sense to me. Call me slow.

If your letter got through to the unique address, Pratchett MIGHT include it in one of his interviews when he talks about fan mail.
And the rest of that convo was me plugging my own story tributed to Mr. Pratchett OBE.

Certainly. And that would be something...
Good for you!
The Fifth Elephant
Researcher 185550 Posted Oct 8, 2003
Allegedly, anyway. It seems to sort of hover around discworld, rarely touching it- like a dragonfly hovering over a lake. Savour that image for a moment, I rather like it.

Nevertheless it lives in that atmosphere! (the dragonfly)
So what are we talking about??
The Fifth Elephant
Researcher 185550 Posted Oct 8, 2003
Ironically, we're talking about talking about Discworld. Something whatshername out of Wee Free Men would be very happy with.

Ah philosophy...
The world's answer to questions it can;t answer!
Tiffany Aching I believe.

It was. It slipped my mind.
Philosophy never really answers questions, but it gets around them in really interesting ways. And asks a whole load of new ones as well.
