Just taken a look at the mid-series trailer and it gave me absolutely no excitement about the rest of the series
*COMMENT ON THE TRAILER* - when the black guy says "The real world is alive and your nightmares are real" leaves me thinking Rose has gone to see a psychiatrist, and it's going to be a BobbyEwing-esque - the previous series were just a dream ...

Oooo, the "just a dream" thing has to be done right. Hate it when it's used too much esp if they can't think of anything else.

Are you talking about the mid-series trailer? Does the fact it's only available in the UK make any difference to you?

eloisa Posted May 26, 2008
Nah, I think it's just that I only have limited internet access here. I'll check it when I get home.

NPY Posted May 26, 2008
hate it when there's some restriction stopping you. Not that I want access to dodgey stuff, but something likew BBC sites should be easily veiwed.

I know! Anybody would think they were expecting me to do some work!

Going slightly offthread for a moment ... yesterday, for the first time ever, I watched a few Youtube clips of The CT Show. I was surprisingly impressed by the Lauren "do I look bovvereed?" character ...

The Murder of Roger Ackroyd was Agatha's seventh book to be published but it was her sixth novel. 'Poirot Investigates' (1924) was a collection of short stories. I doubted the Who team would make such a simple error and it looks like they didn't Having said that, I am a lazy researcher and I haven't checked whether or not TMORA was published before she disappeared.
It is the first part of a Moffat two-parter this saturday (I think RTD said it was the scariest they'd had since Who came back) and I can't wait. As much as I despise the Eurovision haitus, it does make me realise what I'm missing and make me more eager for the next episode. Perhaps it's a BBC tactic?! Also, Alex Kingston guest-stars in this one and she's a great actress.
I'll post the list of Agatha novels on the group page bacause I don't think that many researchers are that interested. And why would they be? There can't be many Doctor Who/Agatha Christie s out there.

Ooh, Alex Kingston and a Moffat episode? Now I'm getting very excited. Roll on Saturday.
