Yes... this forced alabastardisation is pretty unnerving.

But this doesn't explain the fairly common server problems Hootoo has been experiencing for months now.

Most days I have periods of long load times or "not implemented" and other errors. Or My Conversations loses connection and stops refreshing.

This place is the most buggy place I visit.

I quite like Alabaster - but not when I'm set up on Brunel!

'I thought goo users and plain users were polar extremes'

AO - there is a goo style sheet for the plain skin that actually loads faster than 'real' goo on a crappy dial-up connection like mine at home!smiley - biggrin

I like brunel better than alabaster or plain because the white back ground is blinding...the thing I don't like about brunel though is that the intro is not on the top...I use my intro as a place to stick links...and since they are at the bottom of my PS I'd have to scroll all the way down...although I really would like it if the classic goo had the convo popup...

the funny thing is is half the windows open on my computer are in goo and the other half in alabaster...

Put a link to the convo popup in your intro. smiley - ok

Your info is at the bottom because most people use their Personal Spaces for recent convos, etc, although I use mine for links too smiley - smiley
