You don't consider Ben Kingsley A-list?

Personally, I think Ben Kingsley's great - but sadly he's not really Hollywood A-list, which is probably going to be the deciding factor smiley - sadface

I just want it to be a good movie.
If there are no well-known actors in it,
but they do a terrific job, I will be happy.

Douglas Adams was living fairly close to
Hollywood at the time of his death. Was he
there for the climate, or did he hope to
make it easier to meet people who could
help bring about his movie projects?

He was there solely to make the movie.

Bad Hollywood!
Bad Hollywood!
Bad, Bad,
Lazy Hollywood!
Now,
See what you did?!

sad epitaph:

He could climb a mountain in a Rhino suit,
but he couldn't get Hollywood off it's butt...

Just for that, I think the movie should be made in Belgium.

Is Belgium still there?
I thought Ypres got wiped out one
time too many and simply ceased to exist. smiley - huh

Has anyone actually tried to hitchhike
through the galaxy? The real galaxy, not
the virtual one.

Wouldn't that be cool if the head of NASA had recently read the books and decided drunkenly one night that this would be the next mission? Today the moon, tomorrow the galaxy! smiley - biggrin

There's only one problem... No FTL travel.
The money's there for research, but they can't find anyone who can make a decent cup of tea or a nice fairy cake...

Sorry, forgive my naivetee. I'm only here because of a problem with a worm hole and a fishing rod; but, who am Mel and Sue?

Mel and Sue are british daytime television presenters. They are (allegedly) comediennes.

I've seen them on stage, and I have to admit that their "improv" moments far outshone their delivery of the scripted material. But then it was the end of a long tour, and they were probably heartily sick of the script by that point... smiley - erm

Their radio show on BBC London, however, was almost entirely unscripted, and truly hilarious. smiley - laughsmiley - laughsmiley - laugh

The point I was making is that they are the sort of double act that we need for "Shooty" and "Bang-Bang" to work... Think "Morecombe and Wise" in the early (black-and-white) days for an example of the kind of rapport I mean. smiley - ok

Ah, that would be it, I've only seen them scripted. No- one is good when scripted, with the exception of Mark Lamarr.

Are they cute?
Is all this talk of catsuits justified, or just good comedy?
Would Emma Peel or Honor Blackman have been jealous?
Could either play Trillian?

Thanks for educating a slightly faded towel. smiley - towel

Personally I don't think so, and I doubt many people do. But I think that people value them for their comedy rather than their looks.
