It's a unique and very inspiring site to me.
I hope and wish that it will keep shining like a star for as long as the moon circles around the earth.
Congratulations from Amsterdam

Blimey, that means that it's not all that long until I'll have been here four years
Not that that's a bad thing
Happy birthday

h2g2 has made me more friends than I thought a website could ever do, given me a job I hadn't even dreamed I could do, and has fueled my internet addiction. What a site!

Happy birthday h2g2!
Who would ever have guessed I'd have gone to Pennsylvania (and now know why everyone around here (RL here) said 'Pennsylvania? In AUGUST?? Are you nuts?' ), and would have friends on 5 continents?

How very odd. I've been stuck in an office, one floor away from where the h2g2 servers are housed, trying to get a new project launched (nothing to do with h2g2 before you ask) having completely forgotten what the date was. I only remembered when one of the people here went briefly to the BBC homepage and the promo was there.
Happy birthday, everyone.
And no, there was *nothing* humble about the Tomorrow's World launch. One of the proudest moments of my working life so far, that's for sure.
