Well, I'm not sure about the colour scheme but the layout is brilliant. When are the new smilies coming again?

Pearl ! smiley - magic (ooh, I like the clickable smiley idea!)

I have to say that one thing I do like about brunel is that it puts your "About Me" section at the bottom, but everybody elses at the top... good design feature, if ever I saw one smiley - winkeye

For anybody who doesn't hate Brunel, I highly recommend joining the prolific and well-renowned Brunel Fan Club at A807590!

Wasn't the tag supposed to be a *temporary* way for the testers to suggest color schemes?

I just re-read my post, and, although i still don't like it, i would like to apologise for the insulting way i said it. It was very out of character. Good work, it is a good skin, i just don't like it.

Just posting to shamelessly plug my Design Suggestion. I would like the nice Italic people to darken the green a bit. See here: F47998?thread=203329

If I remember rightly strider, the LITE tag changes the bit that surrounds the bit that reads 'The guide to Life, The universe and Everything'.

Except on Personal Spaces there isn't a section that says that...

In that case, I don't know what they do, as I think that that border was the only thing they altered. In the test server, I remember that the brunel tag was designed to test on entries, rather than in particular personal spaces. Entries, do have a bit that says 'The Guide to...'

If the tag is resticted to personal spaces, then it seems the lite subtag doesn't do anything, but if is being allowed for entries, then it probably does do something.

Mark - in the alabaster layout, you can set your preferences to frames for the conversations. Can't you do the same here?

No, as frames are not conforming to the BBC guidelines.

Oh well, that's a shame!

For those people who want a nice restful background, try this :-

#111111
#990066
#455559
blue

Gives you a nice magenta-type colour s=instead of green!

Good point - I forgot to put that into the new front page XML. It's there now, but doesn't appear in Brunel, so I guess that's a bug. It's back in Goo and Alabaster, though, which is something.
