internet law is all stupid anyway. how can you make a law law in one country and be able to police it when the internet is not nationally based. in fact, is more international than the sea.

It seems that a lot of the comments have been along the lines of "good gadgets/features shame about the colours" Which I'm afraid I have to agree with.

I find it quite harsh and I really don't like the idea of it being the norm.

I like the layout and rivets and all that and I think you've done a brilliant job, but the colours would turn me away from the site immediatly, sorry guys

I'm going to try it for a while though as everyone says it grows on you, I just hope the newbies give it a chance to grow on them.

Brunel gives you a headache but Alabaster doesn't? Sheesh! It's the other way around for me, probably because Alabaster's so ugly.

Just posting to shamelessly plug my Design Suggestion. I would like the nice Italic people to darken the green a bit. See here: F47998?thread=203329

I think half the problem is the colours clash with the content!

This may sound really weird but h2g2 is a highly jointed site, it works together amazingly, to frame it with disjointed colours just doesn't seem right.

my Why not do a goo coloured version?! Instead of Black have dark blue, darken the headings and use the page background the same as the goo background to fit the pics in!

Not that I want to make more work for you!

P.S Like the info page and the staff badges! Now we know why Mina's using brunel, she gets an extra badge!

Is there any reason why in the who's online box it doesn't show visited links in a different colour?

Cool, the only comment I have is the aces and gurus table is completely black but that may be something to do with opera, is there anyway of changing the background? I seem to remember not

That's a BOXHOLDER bug, I've reported that! I should probably change it in the mean time but it's not to do with my BRUNEL tag!
