So, in addition to as the symbol of the SBVM, do we need as a secondary symbol? With symbolizing the SBVM on the move?
BTW, Lucinda, I'm pretty sure that LeKZ would consider themselves a member of the SBVM and would like to be placed on the roster, with appropriate smilies.

How do people know not to read "Small but Vocal Minority" as "Small Butt Vocal Minority"?
peace.

Having a small butt is not usually a bad thing, unless you're trying to attract Sir Mix-a-lot. (For youngsters in the audience, forget Sir Mix-a-lot and think DONKEY from the karaoke video of Shrek.)

I'd like to thank you folks for kindly dropping in and providing some of the only laughter I've managed to have during my annual pre-, midst-, and post-holiday blues. Keep it coming: anything we don't use here will surely get incorporated into the revitalized Arbiter Scheme once I shake off these doldrums, get off my not-small butt and reorganize it as a community-based something-or-other. You will all, of course, be formally invited to participate in its redevelopment. Watch for it sometime before the release of "The Two Towers"...
Another idea for our theme song (with apologies to G. Harrison) - "Isn't It a Titty"
(Man, Tube is gonna kick himself when he finds out he's missed out on the beginnings of this bit.)

So many theme tune possibilities! Are you going to release a Gratest Tits (sic) album?

Hmmm... All of these ideas have to go into our consTITution, right?
'Tits' just seems more and more appropriate. Somehow, I think if any of us were bouncy, perky or excited, people would tend to stare...

THE theme song has just been suggested to me.
Michael Jackson's 'Be Tit'.
I can't take credit for coming up with that. I just can't give credit (here) either.

Shoot! And here I was gonna suggest "One Tit Soldier"...
But I think we ought to continue this. Wouldn't want to nip(ple) it in the bud.
What hath Peta wrought?

Such a lot of stuff to talk about...
GTB - is entirely self-certifying - if you think you qualify, then you qualify...
Theory - thanks for the info - I'll remove the badge of (dis)honour - I guess you just got a 'Friendly Word of Advice' or somesuch?
Barton - official warnings are given privately where possible - check the bottom of the house rules for details
agcB - you can always tell when disreputable types come onto h2g2, 'cos they talk to the tits, not to the (f)ACE...
NBY - I'll add LeKZ to the list then, with an appropriate selection of badges. Do you have any idea what kind of title they might want?
Deidzoeb - motion carried eh? I'll update the page with a para or two about Peta's 'tits' then. (o)(o)

I was just kidding about the "motion carried" business. The best thing about SBVM is that we're closely allied not by any substantial agreement with each other, but because of conflicts with h2g2 staff (or with the LArge QUIet Majority?). Membership in SBVM should still imply no agreement with any other members of SBVM on any issues or statements ... including this one.

Lucinda,
I think LeKZ would like the title of 'The X-ed Out'. The name would have to be Arpeggio for LeKZ.

People here may be interested to know that my alternative house rules page has been split into sections for your comfort and convenience. hopefully, the new format will make things simpler - especially for newbies who just want to know what words they can't say...
