I did ponder whether to create a seperate thread for people who were anti-, but decided that as I hadn't advertised this entry *anywhere* it would be a little egotistical to do that before I knew what the reaction would be.

However, I now have the joys of two ACEs posting in the same hour, all at once. So I guess I'd better make a new thread to handle the descending cloud of ACEs - give me a second, ok, and I'll have somewhere to accomodate y'all.

While you're in a creative mood, how about making a subset for those of us who are small, vocal, and a minority but prefer to make our voices heard on an individual level, for or against specific issues, without being lumped in with either the Anti-authoritarians or the Management-worshipping herds.

I kinda like the idea of being a member of a 'club' of independents, with no party line to inhibit us.

Ahh, but as soon as you make your voice heard against *any* specific issue, you'll immediately become part of the Minority. Resistance is Futile. You Will Be Lumped Together With All Of The Other Weirdos Whether You Like It Or Not.

I tells ya - I can't deal with these subsets - before long my 'club' will be split down the middle by internal strife and warfare. Thousands of lives will be virtually lost, blood will be virtually spilt, and inter-necine* destruction will reign supreme!

Perhaps I should just make a 'part timers' section, and leave someone else to make a club for the "Management-worshipping herds"?

One of the miracles of the SBVM is how it manages to retain its size while members either leave or are 'suspended for life'. Some people have put forward advanced sociological explanations for this, but I reckon it's because the Minority breeds like rabbits...

I do declare that tickle smileys are the most obscene thing I've seen on h2g2. That smiley on the left ought to be slapping the perv on the right.
