Er... we are already down as definites - bizzare that we only just noticed the date though.

*sighs* Could you please remove me from the 'definite' list? Ryanair cancelled my flight and instead put me on one that arrives at Stanstead at 11 pm! I'm not taking it, so I'm going to claim a refund!

Haven't been able to find any cheap alternative yet - both BA and SAS charge more than twice the price I got from Ryainair...

So why did they cancell?

No reason given - they called it a 'schedule change' but what they did, from what I remember when I checked the timetables, was to simply put me on a later flight.

I'm off today for Christmas and won't be back till gone the new year, probably somethign like the fifth Jan I'll come back. I'm probably not going to get a chance to update the atendee list today but if anyone wants to take over responsibility for updating it etc whilest I'm gone, I'm sur ethe powers that be would transfer ownership of the atendee list over to you if they see this message or my journal in which I give permision for this to happen

Titania, Ryanair did the same to us! Bugger! Perhaps you can move it to the friday?
But since it was moved from 10 am to 10 pm on the Friday (13!) it as actually a good thing - Dear Husband wasn't able to get the day off - he is seeing his patients, so this means I won't have to travel alone. It'll be a pain being so late, but hey, we can sleep in on Saturday.

So I'll still be coming.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to jump ship from the 'possibly, maybe, depending on flood, war & famine' attendee list, to the, 'I'm really sorry but I definitely won't be able to make it' non attendee list.
Hopefully next time, providing I've actually found another job by then.
