Mother of God, pronouncing judgements on the Battle of the Gods, awaits any and all requests for divine intervention...

Mother of God, Empress of the Universe Posted Jul 26, 2001
*settles into her throne (royal purple velvet, with golden arms and legs, generously decorated with precious gems) and sips her cosmicpolitan.*
*adjusts her judicial wig* (her fanciest tiara is making it slide down her forehead)*
*POOF*
*creates 42 steps of suspended malachite slabs which spiral up to her opalescent dais* Oy Vey! MoGgie's taste is definitely NOT understated.
*patiently awaits the first request for ultra-divine intervention*
*hic*

*FOOP*
*sticks a pilfered on the end of her scepter, as a memento of her first official decision, removes her tiara, and nestles back into her throne*
*sigh* It's a tough job, but somebody's gotta do it.

Oh most wise Mother of God *bows down deeply before her highness* A question has arisen in the battle between Raven and I at the Temple of Ra, and we need your most knowledgeable guidence. Raven has proposed we call our battle a draw, since neither wants to give up, and neither seems to have reason to. I don't see any problem with this, but since there is no offical rules as to if a battle can be called a draw, and if so, how points would be awarded, if at all. We await your advice in this matter.
Your's Truely,
The Bombshell Goddess
ps. Has Golden Thighs been giving you any of the back rubs that he owes you, Ben, and I as a result of him loosing the first battle of the gods? I haven't gotten a single one, and I wanted to know if he was just flaking out on me, or if he was completely neglecting his punishment...
The Judge
Mother of God, Empress of the Universe Posted Sep 5, 2001
Glad to see you here, Saturn Girl. Apollo has been giving the occasional backrub, here and there, in between his other duties. Not continually, of course, and that's ok. You know how it goes... Gods' time is not the same as humans' time. If you're feeling slighted, I'd recommend building a little shrine on his home space with a massage table in it specifically for your backrubs. He's been very obliging when reminded of his obligations.
*puts on her traveling shoes and ....*POOFS*.... to the temple.

Red (and a bit grey) Dog Posted Sep 5, 2001
~Red Dog appears and abases himself at the foot of the steps leading up to the throne. He is wearing riduclous apparrel~
Oh magnificent and omniprescent one I wish to call your attention to the Plains of Asgard, I believe there to be a clear violation of Rule #2 of the Battle of the Gods which has disadvantaged me. I apologise for my outlandish dress but Caper Plip has assumed command of other parties to attack me. I seek your imperial guidance.
Rules are rules - where would the universe be without them.

*Dr Caper Plip appears with the scent of iodine solution wafting around her.*
Your Gracious and Divine Honour, there is a request of your kind judgement in Troy... Ben would like a ruling on this battle... although I don't think it is quite finished yet...

The Rogue aka Phoniex Posted Aug 18, 2002
Oh might MoG i seek youre guidence *sinks gracifully on too knees* it seems that Mystrunner hasnt replied in five days does that make me official winner????

Mother of God, Empress of the Universe Posted Aug 21, 2002
Uff... I've been offline for a while now, too. Technical difficulties . Have they made a smiley for yet? I was about to take one to my puter.
If my memory isn't failing me there was a five day rule.... did Mystrunner ever reappear?
The Judge
caper_plip Posted Aug 21, 2002
Well, Phoniex posted the last attack on Mystrunner, and had the last post within the 5 day rule. Mystrunner did post after Phoniex, but it was after the 5 days had elapsed from Phoniex's last post before she pointed out that 5 days had passed... seems quite open and shut for me...
I think Phoniex wins this by a disqualification of Mystrunner, mi'lady.

He insists that the last attack was not withing continuty rules, when he did reapear right after she pointed out that he hadn't posted within 5 days of her last post.

That's true as well... hmmmm... this is a right old mess...

I looked it over, tried to give a fair answer based on what I saw. I HATE it when my omniscience isn't fully powered up . Hopefully they'll decide to play it out. In my opinion it's not necessarily about who wins, but how well the game is played.
***MoGly rant alert***
In the real world there's too much focus on winning by any means. Here we get to be gods. I say we ought to approach that with humor, honor, understanding, and plenty of cosmicpolitans . Gods have the opportunity to be wiser and kinder than average mortals. With our talents we don't have as much to lose (or at least that's what most people seem to think).

Good Morning!
I was a'wonderin' if I could bring your attention to the Deserted Warehouse. I'm currently fighting RedFish, but he hasn't replied for a while... after about a week I posted again in case he missed it, but he hasn't replied....
Thank'e

Mystrunner Posted Sep 3, 2002
I hate this, querien' that is. A god-proof cell is unable to be effected by gods, right? I would ask your unbiased and altogether fair judgement at The Plains of Asgard, before anything more becomes of it...
*bows, and vanishes*
