A Conversation for The Battle of the Gods

Here's to the champeen! Though I think you did Apollo a huge favor... heard he's making quite a name for himself, doing shows in Las Vegas. Not a bad thing, it'll give him a little nest egg to retire on.... poor ol' Apollo seems to be losing his powers lately....

*Replaces all the stones... decides that it is time to train some of the newer gods and goddesses in the fine art of the Battle *
Hmm... first, I need someone to demonstrate with me...

I would help, but we know what your track record is against me... we don't want them to learn how to loose

...well, that's another reason why I can't show these young upstarts how it's done. I can sit on the sidelines and make commentary

All the more reason for me to not fight her You take a shot Golden Thighs... I'm sure she'll make quick work of you... and heck, you may even like it

Apollo Posted Feb 13, 2002
Well Ex-R.. as a Goddess, you'll have to fight with some kind of physical manifestation (for amusement purposes only ) A Battle of the Ghosts just wouldn't be as fun

If you didn't think I could fight, why'd you accept my application?
I've gotten right into a lot of battles, been the only one on the thread numerous times during wars, and when just fooling around.
I've been triple-teamed more than once, and even had a couple of armies thrown at me (Invasion of the musehome) while I was frontline, and alone.
I call up the army of the dead or use tough spells when I'm outnumbered, Or, when the other player looks like he just wants to destroy or kill things, like at the Doghouse Naval docks. In Clipboard vs. the Dog, I used spells, or ran around unprotected and just fooled around, throwing snowballs.
I can take a hit, too; I've taken damage or been captured or knocked out numerous times.
If you think my fighting style is wrong for the God battles, O.K. If you think I'm a sore looser, I'll let you alone.
*Withdraws application*

EX!!! I'm sorry that came across wrong...
I am by no means saying that you are a bad RP'er!! I happen to admire you in fact.. very unselfish.
What I was trying to do was find some good opening for a sneak attack, preferably while you were coming up with something to shape-shift in to Ask SG... I usually try for the cheap shots
Please forgive me for sounding like I was avoiding you!!! I really wasn't, I promise
Please, please, please don't withdraw your goddess-hood!!!

...me, I've just retired from battling. Sorry if it sounded like I didn't want to fight you. Any thread you're in is usually fun... and this one looks like it'll be no different...
*Pulls out a lawn chair, settles on top of one of the big stones, with an enviro-bubble to protect herself from whatever craziness Golden Thighs cooks up*
