*Several CART flunkies put down their chainsaws and rush towards Sarah Briggs to take her hostage*

Get away from me, you imposter! How dare you do such a thing?! Where am I? Where is Benjamin? What have you done to him?

*ignores the pistol pointed at her head - Lorenzen can do her no more damage than has already been done to her - and turns to see the men approaching her*

Back away, men of ill
Touch me not
Daunted be your every will
Muscles now knot.

*she ducks behind a handy pillar*

*Waits for GM to post some sort of effect of the spell*

*looks around* Its great, Arl. Not quite what I imagined though.

*Sarah's spell works (she still has the boosted power from Uli's carving and her own power-boost spell, plus the dice were kind ). The henchmen stop abruptly in their rush towards Sarah and yelp in pain as their muscles cramp.*

*smiles a bit, having stopped Lorenzen's men without hurting them seriously. heads for the door*

Bullets metal, powder blast
You cannot touch me
Shield surround me, clear as glass

*dodges from cover to cover, watching for more men as she goes*

I won't check those spells yet, since that would give Sarah two turns in a row. It should be "Lorenzen's" turn now.

during the game, certain chracters could sense the ghost of Captain MacClellan. Garius, can Sarah sense Ulyclept? How much power does the new hybrud mage have? I think you should write a new character sheet!

I like it! That would be great! You'd think that the totem Sarah carries would be partially aligned to Uli, which would - I think - mean that it would be able to tell her if Ulyclept is near. And if she helps me escape and make it to Amelia's headquarters, I can go back in time and stop the fireball from wiping out the MC, thus saving everyone.

Sarah is now much more powerful magically than she originally was, plus she is more experienced. I suspect that a small spell would allow her to talk to spirits, and particularly with Ulyclept, since Sarah has the talisman. I think that even without the spell, she would know of Ulyclepts' presence and may receive vague guidance, more like intuition than like direct communication. You can choose which way you would like to go here - direct or indirect communication.

Woo-hoo! So, Ulycleps, are you here?

Ulyclept will be here this afternoon or this evening, as soon as I get home from work or affi gets home from school and either of us changes her from Researcher nnnnn to a real name!

*whispers to the spirit* Can you help me get out?

*to herself* Got to reorganise the image when we get a chance. There's something oddly Egyptian about this. Ah, but we can fly!

*to Sarah: the voice seems clear and yet is soundless to those who cannot perceive the Spirit World*
