Gilling's Cabin

*Gilling enters his cabin, which is fairly simple: a sea chest, a desk, and a bed. Gilling unlocks his sea chest, and puts a large sheet into it. He closes the chest and locks it, after investigating the items inside of it*

Actually, your sea chest is in the forecastle. In RL the 2nd mate DID have a cabin, but I think in this scenario he doesn't. Your character description has it in the forecastle. We'll assume that you put whatever it was in your chest in the forecastle.

In the forecastle, the chests have all been ransacked and all of the non-trivial items were put in your chest. Martens took back an item that had originally been in his own chest. Some other items were also taken back. Your chest now contains these items:

Goodschad's flintlocks
The empty bottle that once held the ghost.
A strange silvery metallic device that you haven't seen before. It is about the size of a harmonica and has buttons and holes in it.

You realize that the items that you took from Lorenzen are no longer in your chest.

Sorry - should have posted this before.

Ooops. That was the wrong thread! It should be in your private thread. I'll post it there too.
