GL has made me aware that Richardson is busy elsewhere, in another private conversation. I'll be waiting here when he has finished.

*leaves, breifly, counting on Richardson to wait if he's doesn't get back in time*

*returns, continues to wait for Richardson*

Okay, then, perhaps I'll go about my buisness for a while, then come back here. Ummm... not sure how the game master would feel about that.

*Richardson strides into the cargo hold, but seeing no sign of Lorenzen decides to inspect the cargo.*

*Beckons to Richardson, while holding tight to something in his pocket*


Sorry I'm late. I was sidetracked by Mate Gilling.

*Richardson looks around warily and glances at Lorenzen. He approaches him slowely keeping one hand in his pocket.*

[Richardson] no worries johan, i was otherwise detained by madam amelia.... what is it you wanted?

It was madam amelia I wanted to talk to you about. What is she doing on this ship? What do you know about her?

*Richardson glances warily at what Lorenzen is clutching.*

[Richardson] I haven't learned much yet, but what i have learned is for the captain's ear before all others......

*Keeps an eye on Richardson's hand in his pocket. Notices that Richardson used the words "glance" and "warily" once in each of his last two posts. Eyes Richardson, and makes a character judgement.*

I'm not at all sure that you really want to go to the Captain with this, Mate Richardson.

*Puts the arm that does not have its hand in its pocket around Richardson in a friendly gesture and leads him to an even more private area of the hold*

I know some things about you that I'm sure you are quite anxious should not reach the Captain's ears. All I want is a little information about the Stowaway, and I assure you my lips are sealed.

*Glares at Lorenzen with unconcealed contempt.*

[Richardson] *Puts as much scorn into his voice as he can muster.* Has this resorted to threats then? What do you know of me?? nothing!! and did you know such a thing to make me cringe, then what stops me from killing you right here?

[ooc] i'd like to apologize for Richardson's mood.... it is merely a reflection of my current state of mind due to events largly out of my hands...... but i'm gonna run with this drastic mood shift of Richardson's

*Removes arm from Richardson's shoulder, fiegns shock at this development*

Now who's the one resorting to threats, sir? Your temper strikes me as out of this world, if you catch my drift. I do not wish to combat with you, sir. All I have is an interest in the stowaway. An interest that concerns, I might add, this entire ship and it's crew.

By the way, I found this lying on the floor outside your cabin. Someone either entering or leaving your room must have dropped it. Do you have any idea what it is?

*Lorenzen is holding out a strange, shiny metal object resembling a cross between a 20th century remote control and a hand-held tape recorder. About the size of a snickers bar, with several buttons and sockets.*

*Richardson looks rather amused.*

[Richardson] I have no idea.... perhaps we should ask amelia?
