smiley - biggrin Thanks, GL. I understand better now. I'll do what I can to open the doors in an interesting way, then. smiley - devil

smiley - sadface that's ok. I'm having Amelia and Albert throw Gillings out now that he opened the doors for us. smiley - winkeye

Your spell worked! Um, what was its purpose - to hide the soulstone?

Exactly. Gillings keeps trying to get it away from me and I'm not about to let it. smiley - smiley

I have to admit that his request to have it light up made me smiley - laugh a great deal. The amount of fabric that a lady wore in those days would have hidden a spotlight. smiley - devil

smiley - doh I hadn't realized that that is what his spell was for. I suppose I should have announced that there was a soft glow coming through your clothes from your chest area, along with some sort of sound. Ah well. Good thing your hiding spell stopped that! smiley - biggrin

I believe that I may have made a mistake in showing the SoulStone to that cad, Mr Gillings. He has shown himself to be nothing more than a common thug. I do hope that Mr Volkert and Mr Goodschad are able to keep him under control and away from Lizzie and myself.

I must discuss my plan for dealing with the SoulStone with Lizzie, Uli and Amelia and time is drawing short. I believe that between the three of us, Lizzie, Uli and I can bring my Lizzie back. Then we must see if Amelia's ear fixture can be caused to take the SoulStone elsewhere, so that it cannot harm us. If not, perhaps we can use Mr Lorenzen's instead. I do not know whether I trust him yet or not, though...

Two things, GL. First, I'm feeling puffed up and proud of my latest thread. I've told Benjamin exactly what he needs to know right now and will hopefully get him to help me with the latest incarnation of my cunning plan. smiley - biggrin Just had to brag to some one about it. smiley - winkeye

Second, my smiley - grr server here double-posted that thread, so now there are two of them. Is there any way that you could help me bury one so that B-17 isn't overly confused upon his return? Thank you. smiley - smiley

I noticed the two threads and figured that is what happened. I'm not sure how to bury one. Perhaps you should just post a message to b-17 in the ooc thread.

And I'm wondering what you have in mind for The Plan. smiley - biggrin

You may have noticed Gillings drop his normal shield and raise his magic shield. You might deduce that he can't use both at the same time. Which means that he is now vulnerable to normal attacks.

Somehow, inexplicably, the soulstone is gone! smiley - yikes You might not actually notice for a while, but next time you go to use it, or hold it, it won't be there.
