* Eli smiles at Kyra, and tightens his grip on Frankie's leash a little. *

Is there anywhere you'd like to go? Anything that looks interesting? Or do you just want to wander around for a while?

*Kyra shakes her head and leans against Eli briefly*

Let's just wander. Ooh, shop!

*She enters a dark store with a lot of black clothes, and spends several minutes looking around intently. She emerges with a bag and wearing a new black trenchcoat and a large skull-ring*

* Eli laughs and shakes his head. He stays outside with Frankie until Kyra re-emerges. When she does so, he gives her an examining look. *

Not bad - but for someone who likes to travel light you sure are beginning to amass a large number of clothes...

* He grins at her and winks. *

*Kyra laughs*

Good thing I nicked that bag then.

* Eli smiles as they walk along. *

Why? Is it an antigrav bag?

*Kyra looks at Eli, slightly concerned*

No. I told you, remember? I nicked it from a Gheorgheni, it's bigger on the inside, and yeah, it's light.

* Eli smiles. *

Ah, of course. I thought you were talking about that bag.

* He nods towards the bag Kyra got from the store. *

And I was already half-preparing for the inevitable arrest...

* He grins at Kyra.*

*Kyra laughs*

Ah. Nah, I've been controlling my baser instincts lately. I'm becoming *normal*!

* Eli chuckles. *

I think *that's* something you'll never have to worry about...

* They reach one of the older parts of the city. There are fewer high-rise buildings here, and when they near an intersections they see an open-air market stretching out to both sides. Eli smiles at Kyra. *

Let's go and see if we can find some fresh food to replenish Tavaron's provisions, shall we?

*Kyra laughs*

Gee, thanks.

*She nods as she sees and smells the market*

Good idea.

*She finds a fruit stand and buys some familiar-looking fruits*

* Eli buys some fruit as well, and looks around for stands with other types of food. Not too much later he's carrying several bags with fruit, vegetables, cheese, nuts and bread - and still managing to keep hold of Frankie's leash. *

I think this may be our cue to get back. What do you think?

* He smiles at Kyra. *

*Kyra looks a little disappointed. She'd hoped to stay longer, but she nods*

Okay, sure.

* Eli notices the look on Kyra's face. *

Don't worry, we can always come back, right? The city won't disappear on us.

* They start to make their way back to the airfield by a different route from the one that got them to the market. *

*Kyra nods*

Sure.

*She follows Eli back to the shuttle quietly*

* Some time later the Annie Laurie touches down gently on her landing spot near the Androcles. Eli, Kyra and Frankie get out with their shoppings and, after Eli has secured his shuttle, make their way back to the tardis. *

* In the kitchen, Eli stores the food they bought, and makes a quick but tasty meal for the two of them - and not forgetting Frankie, of course. When dinner's served, he surprises Kyra by producing a bottle of local wine, and pouring them both a glass from it. *

Just what I wanted.

*She leans back, enjoying the wine and the food and the company*

* After the meal, the conversation and the washing of the dishes, Eli wishes Kyra goodnight, gives Frankie a couple of pets and withdraws to his room. *

*Kyra wanders the halls of the ship for hours before finding a list of occupants - or former occupants. She searches for the name of a girl. Georgia, not Lily. She doesn't want to violate Paul's domain, but she feels personally responsible for Georgia, as she has no family left, and has gone through who knows what in the last ten years*

*She finds the address and lets herself in. The rooms look like they haven't been disturbed in years. She quietly pads through the rooms, looking at the toys and ornaments. She stops at the coffee table and kneels down in front of a photo album*

*Hours later she emerges and returns to the tardis*

*Paul sees Kyra enter when he is on the way to the kitchen. He goes to her instead.*

Hi, Kyra.

*Kyra looks up, and wipes the solemn look off her face when she sees Paul*

Hi Paul. Up early or late?
