Two Bit Trigger Pumping Moron Posted Sep 3, 2001
I had to work my regular job on Saturday and Sunday night so I came home on those nights. I was washing clothes while I was on the internet.

Hi ya'll, can I also join. I was born and raised in Nashville, TN and currently live in Charlotte, NC. The only time I've been above the Mason-Dixon line I had to burn my boots. I sure miss those boots

You may be our first real southerner. Most of us are immigrants.
Welcome!

The Average Joe No One EVER Suspects Posted Sep 7, 2001
Hey there everyone. I'd like to join this group. I'm in Tampa, Florida.
Incidentally.... I don't think people even count Florida as being part of "The South." I don't know why.... Key west has the most southerly point in the U.S., and all the "Deep South" states are north of us.

Shouldn't this be SUSRG rather than SEURG?
You know,.... Southeastern U.S. Researchers' Group
not South Eastern U.s. Researchers' Group?
Welcome
Two Bit Trigger Pumping Moron Posted Sep 7, 2001
A member 5 minutes, and already trying to change things.
I've grown kind of fond of SEURG.
Welcome
Mostly Harmless Posted Sep 7, 2001
As long as Joe doesn't want to go to a punch card system.

7rob7: Give Me Love (Give Me Peace On Earth) Posted Sep 15, 2001
Hey, y'all -
I just couldn't resist the invitation, TBTPM. As my credentials - so important in a proper Southern society - I submit: Virginian-by-birth, Mississippian-by-upbringing, and currently North Carolinian (Chapel Hill) by-circuitous-choice.
Every group needs a 60's relic for seasoning, don'cha think? Like jambalaya. Though I fear my distaste for 'sweet' tea (pa-tooie!) may be grounds for exclusion, rather than my politics.

are you *SURE* you're from the South?
all kidding aside, welcome to the group. Even if ya are a weirdo that doesn't like sweet tea. hehe

I can't stand that stuff either. Ice tea should be brewed pure, then chilled to taste. Maybe a little sugar for flavor. I don't much care for this stuff they have down here that is so saturated with sugar that the spoon will stand up without touching the rim of the glass.
You're in.
