Yeah, and it looks like more an more cities are gonna end up with dinosaur farts. That is if we don't get blown up first. Hafvfe you heard about that world conference that Georgie isn't going to? They are atleast sending someone, but with orders not to agree to anything. And they wonder why the rest of the world hates us.
Welcome!

You just did. Welcome to our group.

I just sorted everyone out by state. That way, if someone wants to know something about a particular place, it's a tad easier to find a researcher in the right state.
I've noticed that we don't have anyone from Oklahoma, Kentucky, or Mississippi. I just realized that you're our first member from Lousiana.
Welcome!

Welcome again, Evangeline... but don't count on me for information on Charlotte, NC.. I just moved here...
Welcome!

Sorting members by state would make it easier for travel information as well as the usual(and I get this a lot): What exactly is Mardi Gras, Tabasco, Beignets etc.?
There are a couple of other researchers that I know are from Louisiana. I may have to nag them into signing up too. That is if they remembered the passwords...this time...
Welcome!

Mardi Gras is well... Woohoo!!! Is that a decent enough description or are we looking for Fat Tuesday here?
Tabasco is the food of the Gods (though I prefer Lousiana Hotsauce actually)..
Beignets are like thingies that can put you into a sugar coma but make you while down...
What do I win???
Welcome!

Thanks for the loo brush.
Strong with chicory. Do you take cream and or sugar?
I made a few Louisiana smileys and posted them here A811577.
Welcome!

I like my strong with just enough milk and sugar to take the edge off. We are apparently having a "who can make the strongest " contest at work. I know everyone is bouncing and trembling, but, we got so much done today.
Glad you like the s. They started out as a joke and then just sort of multiplied.
Welcome!

My gentleman brought me back some lovely espresso when he went to Brazil on business. It's kept me hopping. I'm of the personal opinion that unless it dissolves the spoon you stir it with it isn't strong enough...
Have you ever tried Lebanese coffee? Long ago I used to go to a Lebanese restaurant and the proprietor would come out to my table with a coffee pot and we'd enjoy it together. It wasn't on the menu but rather was something he only shared with selected customers. Very strong, very sweet and spiked with cardamom. Yummy!
Welcome!
Evangeline Posted Aug 28, 2002
Is that why we keep having to replace the spoons?
Enough caffeine and I can draw and or paint a lot of things(like the house). I haven't tried Lebanese coffee. It sounds great.
Welcome!
Batty_ACE Posted Aug 28, 2002
It's good stuff... you can get something similar if you sprinkle cardamom on the grounds when you make espresso then sweeten it within an inch of it's life...
Welcome!
Batty_ACE Posted Aug 28, 2002
that would do it!
I have a coffee maker that grinds the beans just before brewing so I usually throw a couple cardamom seeds in with the beans when I set it up the night before...
