I have some excellent Welsh sheep (or should that be sheep's?) cheese, and some olives. You wouldn't happen to have any crackers would you? Ooh I say, this gin is getting me a little squiffy

Umm let me see, olives, probably green with G&T

Favourite cheese - thats really tough! I love stilton or smoked applewood but cant have either any more But am definitely a big cheese fan

How about you?

I prefer green olives too, either to eat or with a G+T. Favourite everyday cheese - Red Leicester. Favourite posh cheese? I don't know. There are so many to choose from. Favourite ... well, the best I've ever had in a pub was Holt's Mild.
Let's try another tack. What's your favourite thing to do indoors on a rainy winter afternoon?

Well it would have to be curled up with someone special, infront of a fire, either with the papers, or a book, listening to music ...

Which book?

There comes a noise outside the door and the tall wooden stranger sticks his head in. Do either of you know if Mr Christopher got rid of the carpenter ants or got them to build him any furniture? I really don't want to get any of those little things on me.

Cannery Row by John Steinbeck is something I can read over and over again and never get tired of. I can always lose myself in a John Steinbeck book. Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Stranger in a Strange Land, Catch-22, and almost anything by William Gibson.
*Decorously spits out the olive stone whilst placing another olive in LHG's mouth*
