...alec loses what little consciousness he had after the mildenhall rum and sinks to his knees...his hands splay into the muck that collects in the bilges of this magnificent vessel...*

*Switches on the posh LED flashlight that the little Tricians
gave him for Christmas*
"Oh WOW! it's my Feeler gauges...I dropped them down here years ago and i've been searching for them ever since and...hang on...there's more stuff down here...An unopened bottle of Tolly Cobbold! ...and a baggie of what appears to be Catnip...the ships cat will be happy tonight."

Yes, i'm afaid that i've been down in the bilges sir...looking for spare parts, missing tools and stuff.
When we took that turn around mont blank everything fell off my bench and ended up down there between the backlog storage tanks.
*wipes grime from hands onto overalls*

ah, yes, the bilges. i remember diving into them when i was just a wee lad. really made you appreciate taking a bath
