When Pierce the gets back, I shall have to
ask if he got the suitcase with dirty undies back.
Seems as though he may need them again before
long, especially if the ocean kicks up with some
hard wind and spray. The sea can be an awesome
foe when it gets its dander up. You need plenty of
warm, dry clothing to slip into after getting drenched
with cold seawater. (A little warm chicken soup or
hot chocolate is a comfort at such times, too, aye.)

Ahoy Capt. Pierce!!! I've finally caught up with you.
*wearing a long black leather skirt, a mans white poet shirt, a
dark rope tied around her waist with pouches full of spell casting herbs and a saber in a half /sheeth* Good to be aboard once again! Can you say where we be heading? *as an 'Old Salt'
herself, Pan knows that sometimes location is only given on a need ta' know basis * I've just got this one bag to stow...moves large garment bag w/her foot...her bare foot, some things just don't change* I'd like to 'ave cabin 13 if it's still available? *touches her saber* If it's not empty, depending on who's residing in # 13...it just MIGHT be empty very soon.*wink*

Ahoy Pandora, me old salt! (well, not *that* old, but - ah, well)
We are heading for Christmas Island in order to get some crab meat and tax reductions
I'm afraid cabin 13 has been taken for a long time already. In fact it is probably our busiest cabin - as it is a bar . The Lighthouse Bar, run by The Lighthouse girl. You are going to love her - she serves any kind of alcohol known to mankind - and then some! So it's a good advice not to harm her with that saber of yours
Why don't you visit Hatis Greenhouse while you think it over - you will find some interesting plants there!

*s to the rail & looses her lunch to the Sea* My, my...what a man! Takes a REAL man ta' stab himself in the eye like that!
*takes out her notebook & writes:remember to take a WIDE berth around A.Joe, as he's just stabbed his-self w/a fork...in the eye* I'll just keep an eye out for you A.Joe!

But is stabbing oneself in the eye something
that the average Joe would do? If not, then
the researcher is not average. (Of course,
given the way we take on fanciful names here,
he need not even really be named Joe.)
The wink smiley looks too much like the regular
smiley for me tell the difference half the time.
I could do without it entirely, as could most
of us. Remember when smileys were just
colons, hyphens, and parantheses? Life
was much simpler then. Maybe death
was simpler, too. Speaking of death, next
thing you know somebody will be wanting
a Grim Reaper smiley. That would go over
nicely on Halloween, I'll admit.
How did I get off on this tangent? We were
talking about eating green sea serpent
with mushrooms, and I was about to
suggest having a taste of the sea serpent
soup that they're preparing in the kitchen.
Enjoy, enjoy.

Ahoy, Dark Mistress. I have here some green sea serpent soup,
if you'd like to try some. I adapted it from an eel soup recipe,
and it came out great! The thing is, the serpent we used was
so large, I'm afraid there's enough to feed at least 300 people.
So, don't worry about eating too much. If this isn't enough,
there's more in the Galley, the Kitchen, and the Main Messroom.
I hope people will eat it, as there isn't enough room in the freezers
and refrigerators to store it for later.
