Hi All - we have ... Ah I see Floh has told you already. There are some high tensile-strength spun titanium nets in the back of the knot shop. We could try throwing those over-board & see if they stop the torpedo... Just an idea

What do you say Floh? Shall we try it, for want of anything useful from the management ?

Join us in the Lighthouse Bar (and probably the Main Mess Room) on Monday 20 August for a food, drink, music, dancing, general merriment and debauchery
The Captain has said we can beam guests on board for the occasion so please feel free to bring guests (although we will not be able to guarantee their safety )
Hope you can join me, no need to RSVP just turn up and join the celebrations

Debauchery, eh? Hm, maybe we'd better stock up on aspirin
Helmsman, we are still headed for Christmas Island. It's Italy after that and then Bermuda. I trust Kes can work out the details.
Nice move, by the way, Kes It seems you work well together with Ugi and Floh in the presence of torpedos.
I say we pin a medal on Ugi as soon as possible!

There! Er ... er ... I say ... you don't happen to have seen the chart with italy on it, do you?

A mini-bar on the bridge! Perish the thought .... though I think I saw the Helmsman trying to decant some of the alcohol out of the compass ... maybe that's why we never seem to be on the right course.
*Looks up at the sails*
Haul in the t'gallant sheets! (They should be nicely aired, ready for the Cap'ns bed by now )

Hi Kes,
A thought has occured to me, its about Italy, if we are heading to Portofino (which is a lovely place!), there is a teeny little matter to consider, which I think I omitted to tell the Cap'n .
That part of the NW Italian coast (just in case you needed a clue), is protected by strings of watchtowers along the coastline. The whole stretch of coast between France and down to Tuscany is controlled by the Genoese merchants.
We may have to slip in to port undercover of darkness, flying a flag of convenience.
There are some nice bars there though and all the big fashion houses have boutiques there. Personally I shall be off to Gucci and Prada.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the party tomorow night

Floh, I left the medal in Ugis knot-shop. Feel free to pin him anytime you like
Thanks for airing those sheets of mine, Kes! And please supply the helmsman with whatever his poison is. As long as he steers the way you want him to it doesn't matter how drunk he is, does it? Plus you can always blame him for any mistake then...
Let's not worry about Portofino now, Caerwynn. All in due time. But thanks for the advice!
