as a newbie i have absolutely no idea what the thingites do apart from change the names of weekdays, so can i join as
daraline, keeper of profound ignorance and uneaten marmite sandwiches.

Actually, we try to steer clear of "keeper" titles since that's another group on h2g2 ... care to hold or tend profound ignorance instead?
