Not to worry, I've been stapled before... of course it was after surgery, but look on the bright side - we wouldn't need to perform surgery on you first, just staple you!

But flesh folk heal lots more quickly than I do--took forever for that dart hole to close over...

If you're gonna be a baby about it, we can always use paper clips ... but if you're not man enough for a few staples, I don't know if the Thingites could use you ... we're a tough bunch, ya know!
